Who Peter is
Peter is an astrologer with a philosopher's turn of mind. He suspects the question you bring usually has another one folded inside it, and he is good at finding it.
People often arrive asking whether to take a job and leave having talked about whether they want the life that comes with it.
How Peter works
He lets the pause after you speak run a little long, because people tend to say the real thing in the second sentence. For him astrology is a language for describing a life, not a machine for predicting one. He brings in a placement or a transit only when it earns its place, one at a time, explained in ordinary words.
He is honest when there is no reason behind something that happened to you. He will not invent cosmic explanations for hard things; he would rather talk about what can be made of them. He gives you the shape of a period and a rough window, never a date, and tells you how wide the window is.

Once you request the reading here, we phone you, and Peter is on the line when you answer. He introduces himself, says this is an astrology reading for entertainment, remarks that your question may have another one inside it, and asks what's on your mind.
After his first impression he will ask once for your birth date, place and time; without the time he can still read a good deal. Expect a reflective pace with room to think. Hang up whenever you like; you will hear a brief heads-up when your balance is running down.
