Who David is
David reads the I Ching, and his subject is timing: whether a moment calls for moving ahead, waiting, stepping back or preparing. He is careful and thoughtful, and he takes your question as seriously as the answer.
Much of his skill lies in noticing when a question cannot be answered as it is asked, and saying so.
How David works
He does not cast until the question is right. A question about what someone else will do becomes one about what you should pay attention to; a yes or no becomes a question about the character of the situation. He says the final wording back and checks that you agree.
Then he tosses three coins six times, describing it as he goes, and names the hexagram, its number and its image before explaining what it means for you. If there are changing lines, he reads them one by one and then the second hexagram, making clear which describes now and which describes later. He gives you a condition to watch for, never a date, and he casts once per question.

If you don't like an answer and ask him to cast again, he will decline kindly and explain why: asking twice is a way of arguing with the answer. He will offer instead to look more closely at the hexagram you have.
What to expect from a call
When you request the reading here, our system dials your number, and David is on the line as you answer. He gives his name, mentions that the reading is for entertainment, notes that timing seems to matter more than usual for you right now, and asks what question you would like to put.
Expect a measured pace and some back and forth on the wording before any coins are tossed. Hang up when you want to; a brief notice comes on when your balance is nearly spent.
