What a phone reading is like, from the first minute to the last
By ClarityTV
No legal or medical questions. You must be 18 or older. For entertainment purposes only.
Deciding whether to call is usually the slow part. The reading itself is simple, and it is easier to decide when you already know the shape of it. Here is the whole thing in order, from before you press anything to after you hang up.
You do not dial a number
It works the other way around. You open the page of the reader you chose, press the button that starts the reading, and a few seconds later your own phone rings. When you pick up, the reader is already on the line.
Nothing is charged while your phone is ringing. If you change your mind and let it ring, the call costs you nothing.
What you need before that
Two things: an account with your phone number and your email, and some balance on it.
Balance is prepaid, and readings are charged by the minute at the rate written on the reader's page. That is the whole price: no booking fee, no subscription, nothing monthly. Because it is prepaid, a call cannot cost more than what you put in. Ten dollars of balance with a reader at one dollar a minute is ten minutes, and there is no bill afterwards. You need enough for two minutes to start one.
The first minute
The reader opens by saying who they are and that the reading is for entertainment, and then asks you something simple, usually what brought you here today.
You do not need a prepared speech. "I don't really know where to start" is a normal way to begin, and the reader will work from there. You are not asked for your full name, your address, or anything else you would rather keep to yourself.
The middle
How the middle goes depends on who you called. Kofi Mensah lays out three cards and tells you which spread he is using and why before he turns anything over. Grace Chen starts from your birth chart and works outward from it. Julian Ward asks you to tell him the dream from the beginning, in your own order, including the parts that make no sense to you.
What they have in common is the back and forth. You say something, the reader tells you what they see in it, you say whether that lands. If it does not fit, say so. A reading is not a test you can fail, and "that is not me" tells the reader as much as a yes.
When the balance starts to run out
You hear about it before it happens. A short spoken notice comes while there is still time to close the conversation, and then the reader says goodbye, instead of the line going dead in the middle of a sentence. If you want more time, you can add balance and start another call.
Hanging up
You hang up whenever you want, without explaining why. Charging stops at that second. The length of the call and what it cost appear in your account right away, with a receipt you can download.
A few days later you may get an email asking whether you want to leave a review of the reader you spoke with. It is optional, you write it in your own words, and it is published only after it is read.
If you are still unsure
Reading three or four reader pages tells you a lot about which voice you would rather have on the phone. The horoscope pages are free and you can browse them without an account. And the shortest reading is two minutes: it is perfectly normal to call, ask the one thing you actually wanted to ask, and hang up.
